The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Certification We believe our MSC certification leaves an even better taste. Today we offer four species that have been MSC certified. In November 2010 certification was awarded to Ocean Trawlers recognising the high sustainability level of the cod and haddock fisheries conducted by our suppliers in the North Atlantic. In 2013, our suppliers were part of the Pollock Catchers’ Association (PCA) that gained MSC certification of the pollock fishery in the Sea of Okhotsk. To earn this certification, harvesters have to demonstrate that they:

  • fish only at sustainable levels
  • work to minimise the impact of the fisheries on marine ecosystems
  • meet all local, national and international laws and regulations.
